Financial operations director
*job summary*:
the successful candidate will oversee all financial and accounting operations of the resort, ensuring accurate and timely financial records and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
*key responsibilities:*
* deliver high-quality financial reports in a timely manner.
* ensure compliance with legal and regulatory statements.
* generate monthly income statements, balance sheets, aging reports, and inventory reports.
* coordinate and support the audit process.
* oversee proper supervision, training, and personnel administration reporting to this position.
* maintain good relations with departments within the resort, corporate, and owners to promote an effective internal control.
* have full knowledge of all accounting areas within the resort, f&b cost control, and payroll.
* prepare annual performance evaluations for colleagues reporting to this position.
requirements:
this role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with minimum 3 years of experience in hotel accounting, preferably in a luxury or ultra-luxury property. The ideal candidate should possess english intermediate - advance language skills, experience with financial reconciliations, and knowledge of opera, micros, hyperion, and iscala systems.
