Responsible of general ledger and fixed assets activities, including journal entries, account reconciliation, inter-company balancing, depreciation, and cip reconciliation.
what you can look forward to as general ledger and fixed assets accountant:
* responsible for gl & fa activities,gl and fa accounts reconciliation,gl & fa accounts analysis, andgl and fa additional projects as required.
* create, calculate and post journal entries.
* inter-company account balancing.
* fa depreciation calculations,fa capitalization process.
* month end closings and trial balance submissions to headquarters.
* prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
* ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to zf operating units and corporate finance.
your profile as general ledger and fixed assets accountant:
* accounting or finance degree and 1-5 years gl and fa experience.
* a proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork.
* strong analytical and problem solving, outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
* very good computer skills using ms office. Knowledge in sap/qad systems will be a plus.
* mx and us gaap knowledge.
* strong experience in internal controls.
* the successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards.
