National accounts executive
this position will manage and continue to grow existing national accounts, while proactively pursuing new account opportunities to develop strong, long term customer relations and partnerships.
Key responsibilities
develop solid and trusting relationships between national accounts and the company
expand relationships with existing customers with a focus on sales growth and profitability.
Prospecting new accounts on a national level that fits the targets of our program.
On-boarding new accounts and ensure proper account and vendor set-up is established.
Develop new business plans for each account and initiate strategic planning to improve customer results.
Create annual sales forecasts/budgets and monitor sales metrics on a regular basis.
Define client product solutions and scope of work requirements (needs and wants) and determine if we can meet those needs.
Bring forth new market requirements to the engineering and product management group.
Create client proposals and/or specifications with specific scope language that may be scaled for national opportunities, upselling product solutions and services and making product recommendations.
Establish and review pricing (schedule of values) and margins.
Manage the rfi/rfp process from initiation to submission, ensuring deadlines are met and proposals are competitive.
Manage the opportunity cycle within salesforce.
Negotiate changes to contracts with client, consultants, architects and ensure national pricing agreements are up to date and revised per market conditions or renewals.
Participate in national trade shows, and other promotional opportunities.
Participate in collaborating (as required) with our field services team on product training, site commissioning and meet with installation teams to help build and strengthen relationships.
Create a support network for future direct nation care sales in mexico.
Engage with potential clients, initiate quoting and engaging process for upcoming opportunities.
Requirements
+10 years experience in the loading dock industry focusing on technical sales preferred.
Degree, diploma in business administration, sales, marketing, or relevant field.
Goal oriented, team player
self motivated, self directed.
Excellent interpersonal skills with aptitude to build relationships.
Ability to lead, train and educate sales organizations.
