Description
the district sales manager serves as the primary metalworking fluids (coolants, lubricants, cleaners) sales professional in mexico with distributors and customers. This individual assumes responsibility for providing technical sales support for the corporation's products and services, and in conjunction with local distributors, for developing business plans, marketing analysis, and maintaining customers. They will assume responsibility for technical assistance and involvement of distributors in all facets of the marketing process. Position focus is approximately 65% on new business development with new customers and the rest maintaining and growing business with existing customers. The balance of the responsibility is focused on working with business segment managers, especially automotive, aerospace, and medical manufacturers. This position is based out of your home.
position requirements
* bachelor's degree required.
* 5+ years experience in technical sales to manufacturing or industrial customers.
* must be an energetic, accomplished sales professional.
* must be able to sell to all buying influences from the top person in the company (ceo) to the shop floor level (maintenance and operations).
* some overnight travel is required. Depending upon where you live, the overnight travel can be from 25%-50%.
