the role
the principle objective of the emea order entry team is the timely and accurate order placement of all customer-driven orders, sold within the emea region, following customer signature. The team will work closely with the emea sales and customer success teams to receive, validate and process orders from a variety of inputs and are the gatekeeper for ensuring all customer requirements are accurately entered into ordering and delivery systems to ensure workable orders are released quickly into the delivery workflows following customer signature.
this role and the order entry team are critical to the success of lumen and our customers service delivery experience, tfore the role holder must be customer focused, independently motivated, take full ownership of results, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
the main responsibilities
- timely and accurate validation and keying of orders into ordering and delivery systems in line with entrance criteria/ minimum data sets and customer/ product/ process and billing requirements
- drive issue resolution to minimize delays that may occur surrounding the collation and release of orders into the ordering/ delivery systems
- keep internal stakeholders and key partners up to date with ongoing orders and issues
- interacts and builds relationships with various internal clients to resolve discrepancies
- working to agreed sla's and kpi's
- other duties as assigned
minimum requirements
- attention to detail

- customer service, problem solving and analytical skills
- computer and keyboarding skills
- ability to multi-task
- language skills; english (essential) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- can exercise independent judgment
preferred requirements
- service delivery/order entry experience within the telecommunications / technology services industry desirable
