what will you do?
lead and implement the following pillars for all siemens suppliers: quality culture, continuous improvement, technologies innovations & environmental sustainability.
• sourcing process
• supplier selection
• execute sqm-check
• organize technical review
• audit supplier
• support qaa negotiation
• supplier technical qualification and development
• support apqp light evaluation
• support apqp measures execution
• coordinate apqp closure
• material qualification & production release
• support first article inspection
• secure serial production release (ppap)
• supplier claim management (notice, 8d validation, deviation verification)
• supplier risk & performance mgmt.
• evaluate supplier risk (scrm)
• implement measurement methods (sqpc)
additional responsibilities (added to strengthen scope):
• manage and develop suppliers with special manufacturing processes such as painting/coating, machining, cutting, bending, punching and welding
• review and validate supplier process capability (cp/cpk), control plans and special characteristics
• drive preventive quality activities through early supplier involvement and risk-based thinking
• support supplier continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, and cost reduction
• ensure robustness of suppliers’ industrialization processes and process parameter controls for serial production
• act as quality interface between supplier, engineering, manufacturing and purchasing
what will you need to succeed?
• bachelor’s degree (electrical, mechatronic, automation, industrial eng.)
• 5 years sqe/sqa experience minimum
• advanced rca (ishikawa, 5-whys)
• advanced problem-solving (8d, a3)
• advanced mechanical drawings interpretation
• advanced statistics (spc, pareto, histogram)
• experience with apqp & ppap
• iso 9001:2015 / vda 6.3 & 6.5 knowledge
• strong audit, negotiation, leadership skills
• business english advanced
additional skills and competencies (added to increase market competitiveness):
• strong knowledge of core tools: apqp, ppap, pfmea, control plan, msa and spc
• hands-on experience managing suppliers in machining, sheet metal fabrication and surface finishing processes
• ability to assess and validate special process controls and process parameters
• good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, coatings and surface treatments (
• experience in supplier process audits beyond system audits (process-focused mindset)
• high data analysis capability and structured decision-making approach
• strong communication and influence skills to manage suppliers without direct authority
