We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled control systems engineer to join our edrive & transmission controls team. In this role, you will support a variety of projects focused on control systems software development and testing. You will contribute to the design, development, and validation of embedded control functions for electric drive and transmission systems. key responsibilities:
* assist in the specification and documentation of functional requirements for software components.
* support function development for electronic control units (ecus) using matlab/simulink/stateflow.
* contribute to the creation and execution of system and functional test plans.
* participate in the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies related to control systems.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within scope, time, and budget.
required qualifications:
* master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
* solid experience with matlab/simulink/stateflow for model-based development.
* basic understanding of powertrain systems (ice, hybrid, or electric drives).
* strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* preferred qualifications:
* strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural and interdisciplinary teams.
* familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., c, visual basic).
* proficiency with the microsoft office suite (excel, powerpoint, word, outlook).
* prior experience or internships in the automotive or embedded systems domain.
