About the role
we are looking for a partner account manager based in mexico to manage and grow pingpong’s relationships with partners and enterprise merchants across the region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value partners — responsible for resolving payment queries, supporting day-to-day operations, and driving commercial growth by helping partners expand their customer base and transaction volumes on pingpong’s platform.
This role is suited to a seasoned payments professional who can operate autonomously, navigate complex partner relationships, and identify commercial opportunities within an existing book of business.
Key responsibilities
partner management
own end-to-end relationships with a portfolio of partners and enterprise merchants in mexico and the broader latam region
serve as the primary escalation point for payment-related queries, operational issues, and onboarding questions
coordinate internally with product, compliance, and operations teams to resolve partner issues efficiently and within acceptable timeframes
revenue growth
proactively identify and execute on opportunities to grow transaction volumes and gmv within existing partner accounts
work with partners to expand adoption of pingpong’s broader product suite — including collections, payouts, fx, and card issuance
work with partners to create a sales pipeline and accurate forecast
partner success
lead regular business reviews with partners to track performance, surface friction points, and align on growth targets
educate partners on new product features and support their go-to-market efforts with end clients
monitor account health and flag risks or upsell opportunities to internal stakeholders
qualifications
5+ years of experience in account management, partner success, or commercial relationship management
experience in cross-border payments, fintech, or financial services is mandatory
proven track record of managing complex, high-value partner relationships and delivering revenue growth
strong ability to handle payment and operational queries independently, with sound judgment on escalation
fluent in spanish and english (written and spoken)
nice to have
prior experience in payments, fintech industry or financial services is highly preferred
strong understanding of cross-border payments industry, payment processing concepts and transaction flows
