you will be responsible for hse within moca.
specializing in formulating and executing the occupational hse program.
to ensure the hse performances of our operations complies with local and metso standards through proactive implementation of systems, education and training of personnel.
this function will work closely with location managers as well as provide advice, guidance and support to employees.
in this position, you will report to the hse manager.
this position is mainly located in zacatecas, zacatecas mx.
however, it involves up to 50-70% of travel to customer sites.

*what you'll do*:
- partner with the north america hse manager to develop and roll out impactful hse programs
- champion safety culture in collaboration with internal teams and customers
- ensure all safety, health, and environmental regulations are met—or exceeded - conduct risk assessments, internal audits, incident investigations, and training sessions
- lead by example in all safety matters, from policy updates to emergency drills
- support the management team in achieving a zero-incident target
- evaluate contractors and suppliers for hse compliance
- create detailed hse reports and action plans to drive continuous improvement

- experience in hse program implementation and compliance management - strong communication skills in both english and spanish
- a team player with great interpersonal skills and customer orientation
- tech-savvy with solid knowledge of excel, word, and powerpoint
