- collaborate with purchasing to evaluate and develop new suppliers.
- lead supplier review meetings with the purchasing team.
- coordinate supplier returns, ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
- initiate corrective and preventive actions to resolve supply issues and prevent production disruptions.
- develop and refine incoming inspection plans and verification checklists for components.
- review and approve supplier ppap and imds submissions.
- work with the corporate quality auditor to conduct iso-9001, iatf-16949, and customer-required self-assessments.
- analyze internal process data, supplier rejection rates, and ppm data to drive continuous improvement.
- recommend updates to internal documents and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- organize meetings with internal and external customers to improve satisfaction and drive process improvements.
- ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated to suppliers.
Experiência y requisitos
- you will be working with iatf/iso standards and handling ppap, pfmea, apqp documentation, and control plans.
- you will use measurement techniques, metrology, and inspection methods—and you will read engineering and customer drawings with confidence.
- you will handleling mrp systems and database management.
- bilingual (english & spanish)—you’ll be working with global teams
