team function
* the team leads direct to consumer sales and marketing efforts for auto, property, and ancillary products (pet insurance, device protection, flood, umbrella).
* responsible for supporting distribution objectives for acquisition, retention, cross‑selling, profitability, and agency development by assisting in advanced analytic projects. Implements local market planning and analysis, leverages agent and district information to make business decisions regarding areas of opportunity, segmentation of agents, planning, etc., and assists with creation of scorecards, agency development presentations to senior leadership, and campaign management reporting. Also assists with a multitude of diverse projects ranging from planning, agency and segmentation to deriving actionable rules for trigger‑based marketing campaigns.
role description
* this marketing analyst position will be responsible for all data and analytics functions for auto, property, and ancillary products to support sales & marketing (customer acquisition, cross‑sell, retention, profitability, etc…).
* conduct analysis on product and campaign performance, customer profile/segmentation, trend analysis, opportunity identification, a/b testing, and profitability.
* develop reporting necessary for those analyses, working cross‑functionally within the direct bu and across the enterprise as needed.
* represent the team on data integration projects to ensure accurate sales and marketing reporting.
* support distribution objectives for acquisition, retention, cross‑selling, and profitability by assisting in advanced analytic projects and making recommendations for in‑market testing to drive sales growth.
* implement local market planning and analysis, leveraging agent and district data to make business decisions regarding areas of opportunity, segmentation of agents, and planning.

* compiles, analyzes, and maintains reports and charts for distribution.
* analyzes and reports adverse trends to distribution management and coordinates with other team members on distribution projects.
