Company: joyson safety systems industry: the plant supply manager is responsible for directing activities to ensure the timely supply of materials for production through effective planning and control. A qualified individual must be available across all shifts to cover in case of absence.
ensure compliance with customer requirements, corrective actions, and quality standards.
supervise and train personnel to guarantee compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
coordinate internal (production planning) and external (raw materials supply) activities to meet customer requirements.
approve components for production while monitoring inventory levels to align with financial objectives.
manage urgent material supply situations as required.
lead and support quality and environmental management initiatives.
oversee supplier compliance and inventory optimization to minimize obsolescence during engineering changes.
participate in annual plant inventory processes and ensure proper recordkeeping of material flow.
advanced english (mandatory).
preferably in materials planning, supply chain, or quality engineering.
inventory planning & control systems
warehouse management & logistics
core quality tools ( gd&t, spc, control plan, fmea )
erp/mrp systems ( as400, sap, or similar )
root cause analysis & continuous improvement
leadership and team management.
data-driven decision-making and reporting.
