about this opportunity
we are looking for a support engineer to provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.
the support engineer interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers, and other groups within the service delivery organization. You may also collaborate with groups in sales, r&d, 3rd party suppliers, and local authorities.
you will need to keep your technical skills up-to-date, working across telecom and datacom hardware, software, and networks. The role requires independence, responsibility, and effective communication within an international environment.
what you will do
* work on 3g/4g/5g technology, packet core network
* perform trace analysis using wireshark
* engage in problem solving and root cause analysis
* handle customer issues
* apply negotiation and communication skills
* plan and organize tasks
* deliver results and meet customer expectations
* present and communicate effectively
* collaborate with team members
* apply your technical expertise
you will bring
* last year students of communications, electronics, telecommunications, telematics, or related fields, graduating june 2024
* excellent command of english and communication skills
* solid understanding of networking concepts
* basic knowledge of linux
* programming skills, scripting, python knowledge are a plus
* experience leading university projects is a plus
* basic cloud knowledge
