As our Sports Trader, you will work in a team of self-organised traders who cover a large portfolio of sports across our global markets. In your position you will perform pre-match and live trading.
Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:
1. Compiling odds for a variety of desk specific markets
2. Monitoring real-time sports events/results
3. Building on existing knowledge of industry’s policies, systems and procedures
4. Performing analysis of market trends and observing competitors
5. Performing customer analysis and monitoring bet limits
6. Performing pre-match and live sports trading
7. Managing database and sportsbook related escalations
8. Updating databases that will assist with trading/compilation
9. Covering trading responsibilities on other Trading desks as required.

What you’ll bring
You’re someone who brings:
10. Demonstrable passion for sports
11. Experience in pre-match and live trading
12. Experience with various sports trading systems/tools
13. Experience with risk management and betting patterns
14. Familiarity with the industry market trends
15. Knowledge on the industry’s key policies, systems and procedures
16. Flexibility to work on shift patterns that include weekends and bank holidays, and may also include early, evening and night working hours
17. Clear, confident communication in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas
18. A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals
19. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
20. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work
21. Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environments.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some the following skills:
22. In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
23. Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
24. Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
25. Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
26. Ability to adapt to new structures, processes and procedures
27. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationship across the business
28. Ability to understand the operational aspect of the business
29. Ability to understand market trends and learning opportunities
30. Ability to show accountability for own work and results
31. Ability to achieve competent level of analytical and technical knowledge.
