job description
the specialist, inclusion & culture (global) supports the execution of enterprise-wide inclusion strategies and cultural initiatives that foster belonging across the organization. This role partners closely with the head of inclusion & culture and regional stakeholders to coordinate programs, track impact metrics, support communications, and operationalize inclusion programs. The role plays a key part in scaling inclusive practices and bringing mattel’s inclusion commitments to life around the globe.
what your impact will be
* inclusion program coordination
* support the planning, execution, and tracking of global inclusion initiatives, campaigns, and cultural observances
* coordinate timelines, vendors, and communications for internal and external-facing inclusion experiences
* erg and community engagement
* partner with ergs and regional councils to align on event planning, logistics, and visibility
* maintain erg playbooks, budget trackers, and shared content libraries
* content & communications support
* help develop and format inclusion newsletters, storytelling content, and internal communications
* support visual design and deck development in collaboration with the head of inclusion & culture
* tracking, reporting & insights
* track kpis, sentiment data, and participation metrics for inclusion initiatives
* prepare reports and dashboards to communicate progress to stakeholders
qualifications
what we’re looking for:
* 3–5 years of experience in inclusion, people & culture, employee experience, or program coordination
* experience supporting global inclusion or culture-based initiatives
* strong project coordination and communication skills
* familiarity with content tools like powerpoint, canva, or email campaign tools
preferred experience
* experience partnering with ergs or inclusion councils
* comfort working across regions, time zones, and cultures
* exposure to inclusive communications, event planning, or inclusion measurement practices
