As a trade compliance analyst i here at honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, which is essential for the seamless flow of cross-border transactions. Your contributions will help minimize risks and avoid penalties related to import and export violations.
You will report directly to our sr trade compliance supervisor, and you’ll work out of our juarez, mexico location on a onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact honeywell's ability to navigate international trade regulations, maintain compliance, and facilitate the smooth movement of goods across borders.
Key responsibilities
- manage import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation
- conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement
- provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters
- stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks
*you must have*
- 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company
- strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions
- experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions
- experience and knowledge about anexo 24
