define an optimized financial reporting and accounting model to ensure compliance, improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and align with cemex's global strategy.
*main responsibilities*:
- transformation initiatives: drive digital transformation in financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting automation, improving operational efficiency and compliance.
- key performance indicators: define and track r2r performance metrics (financial closing cycle time, reporting accuracy, compliance, reconciliation efficiency) to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- operative model: develop a standardized financial reporting framework integrating shared service centers, automation tools, and erp platforms (sap fico, blackline).
- service delivery management: collaborate with finance teams, external auditors, and service providers to optimize financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with global and local regulations.
- integrated r2r network: strengthen collaboration among finance, tax, treasury, and compliance teams to enhance financial reporting accuracy and regulatory adherence.
