the role
the individual in this role will be involved in the end-to-end investment operations lifecycle. The focus of the role is on trade management within our operations team.
the position will have oversight for managing and monitoring investments in client portfolios. As a member of the team, you will initiate processes for reviewing and implementing investment instructions and related materials on behalf of our clients. The role requires the candidate to work with multiple internal teams, while effectively communicating opinions and ideas.
the selected candidate will be provided on-the-job training in addition to a mentor.
duties and responsibilities
- implementing trades for client portfolios - monitor client portfolio positioning and movements - preparation of agreements and investment instructions - keeping internal and external stakeholders appraised of progress - gaining an understanding of the wider investment business - developing relationships with internal and external parties
the requirements
- undergraduate degree - effective oral and written communication skills - project management skills - attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines - willingness to learn and ask questions - at least two years of experience in an investment operations role is preferred but not required - office based in mexico city, in a hybrid model
