As a process engineer, you will standardize manufacturing processes and operating procedures of production areas to improve efficiency, reducing variation and waste in production processes, ensuring process safety. key responsibilities
* improve processes to reduce the time it takes to manufacture products.
* you will implement processes that minimize the loss of materials in production processes.
* verify compliance with operations in a safe manner, reporting findings through the use of near miss as an incident prevention tool.
* promote compliance with ehs requirements established in ppg.
* make decisions to stop operations, equipment, personnel and unsafe acts that may affect the safety of personnel and quality of the product, process and service.
qualifications
* chemical or industrial engineer.
* + 3 years of proven experience in powder coating production process engineering.
* knowledge and application of lean manufacturing and six sigma philosophy.
* fluent english.
