the sr associate brand manager is responsible for translating brand strategy into strong in-market execution, driving commercial performance through product, pricing, promotions, availability, and visibility. This role ensures that brand plans are effectively implemented across channels to maximize growth and consumer impact.
responsabilities:
1. Planning & strategy
* support the development and alignment of the annual operating plan (aop)
* define kpis and ensure alignment with business objectives
* translate brand strategy into actionable in-market plans
2. Brand building
* analyze brand performance, market trends, and consumer insights
* identify opportunities for brand positioning and growth
* contribute to long-term brand strategy development
3. Portfolio management
* lead portfolio optimization and sku prioritization
* drive innovation initiatives aligned with brand strategy
* execute obppc processes (objectives, brand positioning, portfolio, communication)
* identify distribution opportunities and rationalize product portfolio
4. Revenue growth management (rgm)
* collaborate with commercial teams to define pricing and promotion strategies
* ensure execution of pricing strategy across channels and portfolio
* optimize promotional efficiency and roi
5. Brand communication
* support annual communication planning (media, creative, pos, pr)
* execute and monitor campaigns against kpis
* coordinate with agencies for effective execution
6. In-market execution
* ensure availability of focus skus across channels
* drive best-in-class in-store visibility and execution standards
* collaborate with sales, supply chain, and agencies for flawless execution
7. Performance management
* track and optimize key kpis:
* numeric distribution (nd)
* weighted distribution (wd)
* sales velocity
* net sales growth
* use data and analytics to drive decision-making
8. Team leadership
* lead and develop associate brand managers and junior team members
* foster cross-functional collaboration across sales, finance, and supply chain
* influence internal and external stakeholders.
experience & education:
* bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
* 5–7 years of experience in fmcg brand management
* proven experience in:
* in-market execution
* promotions and portfolio management
* cross-functional leadership
* experience with syndicated data (e.g., nielsen)
* successful product development and launches.
technical skills
* marketing mix management
* financial acumen (p&l, rgm platforms)
* market and consumer analysis
* project management (stage-gate processes)
* tools: tableau, power bi, nielsen, homescan, iscam
