The Engineering Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to drive a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the goals of functional area are delivered to appropriate Operations & Technology (O&T) organizations
2. Oversee O&T spending to ensure the firm's finances are budgeted and spent according to the Chief Technology officer’s (CTO) technology strategies
3. Manage overall execution of IT strategy and roadmap for the technology area
4. Lead operational readiness and conformance to global operational standards for ongoing operation and support
5. Utilize an in-depth understanding of how engineering integrates within technology and commercial awareness
6. Responsible for training and coaching team members, performance management activities, monitoring quantity and quality of work, and addressing development needs for assigned personnel
7. Make evaluative judgment based on analyzing information in complicated or unique situations; utilizing multiple sources of information
8. Impact engineering through overseeing planning, finances / budget, end results and policy setting
9. Negotiate with senior leaders across functions and with external parties, as required
10. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
11. 10+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering role with commensurate experience in people management.
12. Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
13. Project Management experience
14. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
15. Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
16. Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
17. Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
18. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
19. Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
20. Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Education:
21. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
22. Master’s degree preferred

24. Gestión de BD, SO, Cloud, almacenamiento, nuevas
25. Arquitectura de Infraestructura. ya sea para Data Center, Network, servidores (Linux, Unix, Windows) y almacenamiento.
26. Gestión e implementación de proyectos de infraestructura (Ambientes productivos y previos)
27. Gestión de sistemas de pruebas, DR y continuidad operativa
28. Gestión de auditorías internas y externas
