Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.CONTROLS ENGINEERJOB SUMMARY:As a Controls Engineer, you will have knowledge of automated assembly systems with a solid understanding of the basic theory of industrial controls system applications, design, and operation including concepts of power distribution.
You will utilize your ability to troubleshoot to solve problems using creative solutions and improve processes while being adaptive to various situations.
You will be required to maintain, develop, and improve automation controls systems to help increase productivity and efficiency while meeting both facility and customer needs.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and input data into PLC logParticipation in and preparation for managerial meetingsProgrammingWork across with other facilitiesWork cross-functionally with other departmentsUtilize team member feedbackFind solutions to critical issuesMaintain and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE)HMI performanceEvaluate new manufacturing and controls technologiesWork with tools to find the root cause of an issueKeep equipment operating and improve equipment uptime by performing periodic auditsIdentify and implement error proofing requirements throughout the production processSOT walksFollow health and safety processesAct in a proactive and preventative safety behaviorDocumentation and reportsEnsure that you stay up to date on controls technologyStay compliant with training required for positionAll other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or in related fieldsYears of Experience: 2+ years experience in industry and related equipmentTRAVEL:Travel Required: minimumKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Allen Bradley (Studio 5000), Siemens (step 7), and C++C sharp and ladder logic experienceAbility to read drawingsAdvanced knowledge of electronic devicesExpertise on Fanuc Roberts programmingKnowledge on communication protocolsAdvanced computer troubleshooting experienceCandidates residing in California or Colorado are not eligible for remote positions.Android Industries is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
