the primary emphasis of this position lies in the technical aspects of preparing files for printing, showcasing proficiency in optimizing files for flawless execution on the chosen printing platform. It's important to note that this is not a design position.

responsibilities
* outputs electronic proofs & hard color proofs
* convert approved proof files to final stepped files for plate output
* inspect finished files, including completion of qa checklist
* interact with customer representatives or other teammates concerning job specifications or special requirements
* manage multiple jobs in various production stages
* operate macintosh workstations utilizing company erp, graphics systems, and strong knowledge of manufacturing operations
* assist with external communication and file transfers
* complete required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner

* interact directly with customers or graphics separators for queries, feedback on specifications, etc.
* participate in researching and developing new technology
* perform routine maintenance and manage computers and equipment
* comply with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable

* participate in continuous improvement / kaizen teams
* attend department meetings and internal training classes
* participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
qualifications
* associate degree or 2 years of equivalent combination of education and experience in graphics reproduction, customer service, or related fields
* demonstrated proficiency with adobe creative cloud
* experience with hybrid, esko, gmg or hp indigo software a plus
* demonstrated ability to learn new technology including new/upgraded software and hardware
* understanding color theory and color separation
* specific vision abilities required including color perception, depth, and focus adjustment
* must be detail oriented, well organized, and take pride in delivering quality work
* ability to multi‐task and work well under pressure with tight deadlines
* excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks
* willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
* ability to problem‐solve and work with minimal supervision
* this position may require sporadic travel as necessary

logistics analyst ii (chemical engineering / hazardous materials)

as a logistics analyst ii here at honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations. You will be responsible for assuring day to day logistics operations are performed accordingly to business and market's needs; acting as a key enabler to meet our financial commitments. With your expertise in logistics management and strong analytical skills, you will develop strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our logistics manager and you'll work out of our mexico city location on a hybrid work schedule.

in this role, you will impact the company by improving the efficiency of our logistics operations, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

key responsibilities
* execute logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while meeting our commitments with customers
* manage the end-to-end logistics flow, including reverse logistics to guarantee our assets are returned in a timely manner
* participate in business pulse meetings, working together with customer service and account managers to prioritize activities
* collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and third‐party logistics providers to establish strong partnerships and streamline operations
* ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
* develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
you must have
* 3+ years of experience in logistics operations in the chemical industry
* strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and reverse logistics principles
* excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
* proficient in using logistics management software and tools
* effective communication and leadership abilities

what are your contributions to the team?
* develop and deploy methodologies for non‐conformance resolution
* verify first article inspection (fai), analyze requirements, incorporate changes to documentation and resolve findings
* analyze requirements, develop concepts that initiate a tooling order and harmonize purchase dates and rework related to tooling designs
* identify operations that do not add value, proposing optimization solutions to the production line
* implement, coordinate and prioritize changes to production line configuration with robust tracking of change management process activities
* provide technical support of production line manufacturing processes
* monitor and report timely progress of projects assigned to their function, identifying risks and solutions for on‐time delivery
* develop and optimize manufacturing sequence visual aids using ergonomics standards with proper use of risk analysis methodology
* define and incorporate standard times in work instructions to ensure proper product costing
* document and promote modifications, standard practices and lessons learned to ensure product integrity according to design requirements
* promote decision making based on cost‐benefit analysis for adherence to established department/program budget
how to thrive in this role?
* you have minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing process (structures)
* you hold a bachelor's degree in aeronautical, mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, metallurgical, industrial engineering or related field
* you hold experience in manufacturing processes of machining and chemical treatments on metallic parts (chemical milling, shot peening, paint, chemical treatments, etc.)
* you have experience handling 2d & 3d modeling software, catia v5, preferably
* you have knowledge working with office microsoft
* you have an intermediate‐advanced english level
