responsibilities include:
* create, validate, and improve inspection programs for each part to evaluate.
* inspect parts or assemblies according to engineering and manufacturing requirements.
* perform precision and accuracy checks on dimensional reports.
* perform data analysis using statistical control process (scp).
* lead feedback and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering on data analysis for each part measured.
* ensure manual and internal calibrations using accessories per required methods.
* coordinate with quality inter-site for follow-up on corrective actions.
* handle customer queries (internal and external).
* participate in and ensure follow-up on non-conformance reports (ncrs).
* lead quality improvement projects.
* promote, work, and role model 5s principles.
* participate in the design of checking fixtures.
* support areas to improve quality through various tools and methods.
skills, knowledge & experience to thrive in this role:
* bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or electro-mechanical engineering.
* advanced english proficiency.
* 1 to 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection, preferably on tubes.
* 1 to 3 years of experience with polyworks and calypso.
* strong gd&t knowledge.
* experience working with core tools (msa, spc).
* experience with numeric control equipment such as leica, arm, or cmm.
