*responsibilities*:
- *pc and hardware support*:
- install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- perform system updates, patches, and upgrades as needed.
- ensure proper inventory and management of it assets.
- *network administration and support*:
- monitor and maintain local area networks (lan), wireless networks, and vpn connections.
- configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- collaborate with corporate it teams to ensure cybersecurity and data integrity.
- assist in network infrastructure improvements and expansions.
- *software & system support*:
- provide support for windows and linux-based systems.
- assist with it security policies, including antivirus, backups, and user access management.
- support active directory management and user account administration.
- *user support & training*:
- provide technical assistance and training to employees on it-related issues.
- document solutions for recurring problems and create user guides as needed.
- respond to and resolve it support tickets in a timely manner.
*requirements*:
- associates or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in it support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- strong knowledge of windows os, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
- experience with network devices (cisco or similar).
- familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and it security tools.
- basic knowledge of server administration and virtualization (vmware ).
- familiarity with manufacturing processes and automotive industry standards is a plus.
- *proficiency in spanish and english language required*.
