Overview:
join our team as an *auditor for incoming inspection* on the *second shift*
we are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the quality of our raw materials through comprehensive auditing, testing, and inspecting.
*responsibilities*:
understands and uses inspection instructions, test plans, process instructions, engineering drawings, etc.
uses sap for bills of materials, engineering drawings, material location, inspection plans, material movements, etc.
performs visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of material, subassemblies, and products following the corresponding instructions.
understands and applies the sampling plan.
uses measurement and testing instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, ohmmeters, rulers.
operates vision system equipment: keyence vhx, keyence vr3200, etc.
operates coordinate measuring machines: romer arm, ogp, cmm.
prepares reports and fills out inspection, audit, and other activity records.
reports discrepancies in inspection plans.
interprets drawings using geometric and dimensional tolerancing (gd & t).
performs reliability tests on raw materials.
generates quality notifications for defects found in raw materials.
ability to follow instructions to perform electrical tests.
knowledge of esd for inspecting electronic components.
performs other activities as required.
qualifications:
- completed technical degree or high schoool diploma
- 1 - 3 years experience
- english 65% (read documentation)
- ability to work effectively in a team and meet objectives
- good interpersonal skills (coordination with receiving, warehouse, planners, sqe)
