Description - external client management: to achieve income for the group by originating leads, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in order to identify and sell innovative cash and clearing management solutions to a sector, to be recognized as a glcm specialist with an ability to display competent knowledge of relevant products and services within the job holder’s area of responsibility, and to act as a lead sales representative on opportunities with key clients and/or deals.
responsibilities
* manage a client portfolio to maintain existing income and generate new income for the business.
* manage costs within plan and keep losses to a minimum.
* undertake sector/portfolio planning and client monitoring/contact.
* maintain close liaison with key stakeholders to provide input into strategic direction, product functionality, and launch of new products and services.
* contribute to the pcm pipeline and keep it accurate and up-to-date.
* stay up-to-date with product knowledge through presentations, training, and reviewing intranet/internet resources.
* generate referrals for other global businesses as appropriate.
* monitor external factors influencing international business (economic, cultural, geographical, procedural, regulatory).
* execute a robust sales plan targeting key customers and effectively close pipeline deals to capture revenue.
* build and maintain close client relationships; act on feedback from market surveys and client engagement programmes.
* support development, direction and delivery of strategic initiatives; broaden and deepen client relationships.
* work with stakeholders to ensure a positive client experience including excellent service and implementation.
* develop a calling plan to achieve goals; design and implement consultative, innovative solutions; generate referrals within the group.
* where appropriate, undertake professional presentations to customers, portraying hsbc positively amid competition from banks.
* maintain and enhance hsbc’s image through conferences, sector days, client road shows, industry associations, and other events.
* develop and maintain relationships with key clients with a robust coverage programme.
* ensure fairness in strategy, product design & delivery, customer literature, financial promotions, administration, and complaint handling.
