*activities*:
- coordinates subordinates in the inspection and/or receiving testing and/or process and finished products, according to established procedures
- insures the compliance to quality objectives (quality costs, customer satisfaction, etc.) and the effectiveness of corrective measures.
- report to top management any trends or issues which may affect the health of the quality management system or customer satisfaction levels
- verify the conformity of the quality management system, evaluate its effectiveness and efficiency
- conduct periodic management reviews and the annual iso's management review
- monitor and report on the quality management systems that verify conformity of products
- generates, interprets and implements quality system documentation. Develops, modifies and maintains the standard operations procedures
- participates in the planning, development and transfer of new products or changes in parts, materials or processes.
- prepares and manages the objectives and budgets of the department, as well as validates and authorizes standard operating procedures (sop).
- responsible for selecting, training, motivating and developing the quality department’s staff as well as acting as a facilitator. Responsible for managing subordinate’s
- performance. Also responsible for promoting and maintaining interdepartmental harmony.
*requirements*:
- engineering degree
- +3 years at the lead level within the quality area.
- +5 years of experience working in the metal-mechanical industry
- advanced level of english
