- use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns; predict trends in the client base and the consumer population as a whole
- perform statistical analysis of data with a solid understanding of data sources, data organization and data storage
- get the insights and recommendations for business improvements
- use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- analyze data and derive meaningful outcomes through identification of patterns and trends
- present your findings to the relevant stakeholders of the organizations for what the data pertains to; understand data content as well as business requirements - must be able to tell the story

*you will be successful in this role if you have*:
- requires a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management or statistics
- * minimum of 3-5 years* of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience
- proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- *power bi required*
- knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (excel, spss, sas, python, r, etc.)
- strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- * must speak english.*
