Is responsible for evaluating and improving the performance of the company's suppliers. This position involves working closely with suppliers, managing relationships, and ensuring that quality, cost, and delivery time standards are met. The engineer will also develop strategies for continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Reporting to the purchasing department, the engineer manages the performance of the supply chain and our company's suppliers, while ensuring the consistency of improvement actions initiated by all supplier managers (purchasing, supply chain).
In this diverse environment, with internal and external interfaces, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the qualitative and logistical results of a supplier panel.
You will be responsible for defining and leading the monitoring plan, based on risk analyses conducted with those involved in supplier relationships. You will plan load/capacity assessments and supplier evaluations.
You will contribute to their resolution through your negotiation skills and knowledge of supply chain tools.
The position requires regular international travel (to all countries) depending on the supplier panel. You will evaluate supplier performance using metrics and data analysis.
You will conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
You will collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
You will maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate performance agreements.
You will develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain.
Report supplier performance to senior management and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with company regulations and policies throughout the supply chain.
Perform other duties inherent to the position according to the needs of the company.
Comply with safety, hygiene and environmental programs and policies.
Education
degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, logistics engineering, or a related field.
English level
advanced english.
Experience
minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, or similar roles.
Computer skills
knowledge of erp systems.
Other skills
knowledge of supplier management software.
Willingness to travel as needed (passport and visa required).
