About the role
thebilingual (spanish/english) technical training manager will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for liu gong’s construction equipment portfolio, including wheel loaders, forklifts, and excavators, as well as high‑voltage lithium battery systems. This role requires both curriculum development from basic to expert levels and hands‑on in‑person training delivery. The candidate has technicians or service training work experience and the ability to create engaging training materials, including animations and other multimedia, to enhance learning and retention. The person also has the experience or ability to lead one or two trainers. Must be completely bilingual english/spanish (read, write, speak) to conduct trainings for consideration.
responsibilities
* develop and maintain a comprehensive technical training curriculum covering: wheel loaders, forklifts, and excavators; high‑voltage lithium battery systems and associated safety protocols; maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
* create training materials, manuals, presentations, and interactive content, including animation, videos, and simulations, to support learning objectives.
* conduct in‑person training sessions at dealer locations, company facilities, and customer sites.
* assess trainee progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
* collaborate with product support, engineering, and sales teams to ensure training content is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with liu gong standards.
* provide technical mentorship to service teams and dealers to elevate expertise across regions.
* stay current on emerging technologies in construction equipment and battery systems to continually enhance training programs.
* develop certification programs for technicians at multiple levels of expertise.
* recommend and implement improvements to training methods, tools, and materials.

qualifications
* must be completely bilingual english/spanish (read, write, speak) to conduct trainings.
* bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or related technical field.
* 7+ years of experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or related technical training roles.
* hands‑on experience with wheel loaders, forklifts, excavators, and high‑voltage lithium battery systems is highly preferred.
* demonstrated ability to develop technical curricula and training materials for multiple skill levels.
* proficiency in creating multimedia content and animations for technical training purposes.
* strong presentation and communication skills; comfortable conducting in‑person training for small and large groups.
* ability to travel as required for training delivery (domestic and international).
* strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
