ntt data, inc. currently seeks an applications architect to join our team in mexico.
this role will help bridge the gap between system design, technical architecture, business processes, support, and operations and work to define, design and implement technology projects.
job description:
determine platform architecture, technology, and tools for a stated business problem.
define and create scalable and extendible microservices based applications architecture using latest technologies, tools and procedures.
define infrastructure for design and integration of internet computing systems by analyzing information requirements, studying business operations and user-interface requirements, and directing development of physical database.
confirm architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications by developing analytical models and completing validation tests.
participate in the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities and then translates them into strategic initiatives, roadmaps, and conceptual architectures.
create and maintain design documents
lead it responses for rfps and translate customer commitments into actionable program statements of work and architectures.
create high-level system and roadmap views that enable executives to focus their attention on the most-important areas, and enable identification of impacted capabilities, functions, and systems.
achieve organization goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture.
prototype solutions and recommend the adoption of new technologies and continually improve our client experience.
support development and deployment of application software releases to production and non-production environments.
lead the delivery of large projects across many teams and departments, make critical decisions in the process and escalate to management when necessary.
provide architectural oversight of projects ensuring requirements are in alignment with it and business architecture.
provide oversight and leadership in the development, analysis, and revision of design procedures, program codes, test procedures, deployment, and quality standards.
acquire a working knowledge of the architecture of existing on-premises systems and assist in documenting them and migrating to cloud.
evaluate emerging technologies, prototype solutions, and evaluate processes for inclusion in the technology road map.
adapt to existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
skills (mandatory):
strong customer-facing communication skills.
hands-on experience with system analysis, software architecture/design & development of web applications.
experience in cloud & microservices architecture and framework implementations.
network design and implementation experience.
ability to clearly present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
strong web programming skills.
solid understanding of software engineering including agile methodology.
at least 3 years of experience in design and implementation of ci/cd and tools migration using devops technologies.
strong technical background in fullstack, python, react, devops, etc.
