This role is critical in managing a high-performing team, ensuring seamless collaboration with global teams in the us and india, and driving excellence in sap service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sap, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for building a collaborative and accountable work culture.key responsibilities:strategic leadership & growth:• develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability of the sap practice. • identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the practice. • collaborate with management to align sap practice goals with overall business objectives. • build and nurture the growth ecosystem (partners, vendors) to maximize market reach. • support business development efforts by showcasing delivery capabilities.team leadership & capability building:• lead and manage the sap delivery team based in mexico, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of sap consultants, architects, and developers. • define clear roles and responsibilities, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations. • establish and maintain an effective in-person working environment to enhance team cohesion and productivity. • provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.global collaboration:• act as the primary liaison between the mexico delivery center and teams in the us. • ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables across geographies. • facilitate regular communication and knowledge sharing between global teams.client management:• build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business requirements and providing innovative sap solutions. • act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their sap investments. • ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely delivery, quality service, and effective communication.talent acquisition & retention:• partner with hr and recruitment teams to ensure open roles are filled promptly with high-quality candidates. • drive onboarding and training programs to accelerate new hire productivity. • implement retention strategies to maintain a stable and motivated workforce.delivery oversight:• take ownership of delivery performance for accounts supported by the mexico center. • dive deep into delivery issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. • ensure adherence to slas, quality standards, and customer satisfaction metrics.operational and financial management:• define and track key performance indicators (kpis) for the delivery center. • develop and manage the sap practice budget, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and resource requirements. • monitor financial performance metrics, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. • drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency. • ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and audit requirements.qualifications:• bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. • 15+ years of experience in sap delivery, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. • strong understanding of sap modules and implementation methodologies. • proven experience managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. • excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • fluent in english and spanish (preferred).
