Production planner (eaton es amer ess)

seeking a production planner to manage production planning, ensuring accurate and timely label requirements, oer and inventory management.


responsibilities

* create and maintain in sap an achievable production plan based on the master schedule.
* balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line.
* process ecn/ecrs and update production orders to reflect changes in boms.
* expedite and assign priorities to production orders in sap, cascading priorities to internal supply.
* champion vsm to finish all production orders older than 2 weeks.
* champion cleaning cogi errors in sap and drive accountability from production.
* drive accountability for past‑due status and otp within the vsm, lead problem‑solving team to identify and correct root causes affecting on‑time delivery.
* interact with supply planners to make an achievable production plan and provide information about production orders and expedite status so rgids are communicated to customers.
* coordinate reschedules of production orders based on material availability.
* daily review and communication with the vsm manager and team about production attainment.
* analyze, report and creatively find alternatives to material shortages affecting the production plan.
* responsible for material master configuration and review of configuration items that could affect daily duties.


qualifications

* bachelor's degree in engineering, administration or equivalent.
* at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and industry in supply chain function.
* bilingual (english and spanish).
* experience with repetitive and discrete production, rccp, siop, apics certification a plus.
* strong sap experience, advanced excel.
* efficient, ethical, transparent.

seeking a senior role to ensure production planning management, monitoring delivery dates, attending supply chain meetings, following up shortages, and maintaining inventory.

ideal candidate

* strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, cost modeling, and erp systems.
* strong strategic mindset with hands‑on execution capability.
* exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

supply chain manager (international manufacturing group)

end‑to‑end responsible for systematic supply chain planning to ensure customer satisfaction and solutions are delivered.


responsibilities

* define and execute production and material planning in line with customer demand, internal capacity and optimal inventory levels.
* oversee and optimize raw material imports and finished goods exports while ensuring imex compliance, cost efficiency and reliable transit times.
* lead and optimize raw material, finished goods and mro warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, effective location control, optimal turnover and operational excellence.
* establish robust controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of work‑in‑process, raw material and finished goods inventories while minimizing discrepancies and obsolescence.
* manage communication with national and international customers, ensuring on‑time delivery, adapting to demand changes and resolving issues promptly.
* manage scheduling, preparation and shipment of finished goods, including weekend operations as required, in compliance with ctpat regulations.
* drive initiatives to reduce logistics costs, optimize inventory levels and improve cash flow performance.
* lead and develop a team, driving a high‑performance culture centring on safety, operational discipline and continuous improvement.
* ensure compliance of oem customer requirements and automotive industry standards (quality, otif performance, traceability, etc.) in an iatf‑certified organization.


qualifications

* bachelor or master degree in supply chain management or related field.
* at least 8 years’ experience as a supply chain manager in an international production environment.
* experience in automotive (strong advantage).
* analytical and proactive professional with strong strategic mindset and focus on results.
* approach work in a structured and systematic way with focus on improving processes and enhancing information flow.
* apics certification preferred.
* basic knowledge of iatf and iso standards a plus.
* knowledge of mrp, ctpat, immex, and warehouse and inventory control a plus.
* excellent communication skills in both english and spanish.
