Job summary:
this is a senior leadership role within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial control and compliance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a regional financial control and compliance head. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our regional financial control and compliance efforts, ensuring that all financial transactions and activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
the successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial compliance, risk management, and internal control. They will also have a strong background in financial systems, reporting standards, and control frameworks. Additionally, they will possess excellent project management and change leadership capabilities, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across languages and cultures.
responsibilities:
* lead regional financial control and compliance efforts
* ensure all financial transactions and activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* develop and implement effective financial control and compliance processes
* provide guidance and support to staff on financial control and compliance matters
requirements:
* university level degree in chartered accountant; certified public accountant desirable
* extensive experience in sox reviews and internal audits, financial compliance, risk management, and internal control, related tools and software
* good understanding of the healthcare industry desirable
* shared services experience
