to approve and develop new and existing suppliers to required levels of performance expected by honeywell and lead qualification of parts manufactured by suppliers for electronic manufacturing services (ems)
to lead improvement of supplier productivity, safety, and quality for assigned suppliers.
develop & maintain relationships in order to improve partnerships between honeywell & suppliers
*key responsibilities*:
- responsible for coordinating with procurement, site quality and category manager organizations for enabling growth & quality improvements at preferred suppliers.
- qualification of new ems suppliers thru honeywell supplier common assessment (hsca).
- responsible for part and product approval process according to ppap during npi and transition.
- validation of ppap process on-site at suppliers.
- monitor and report on supplier productivity performance and initiatives to improve.
- interface with suppliers, quality, operations, & engineering, & procurement organizations to drive quality improvements.
- drive root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier major quality issues.
- drive use data analytics to identify the most important issues to focus effort on.
- responsible for other duties and tasks as directed.
- lead new supplier qualification and first article qualification cross-functional teams.
*you must have*:
- bachelor´s degree in engineering 3+ year knowledge in ppap process.
- strong technical background in electronic manufacturing services (ems).
- self-starter, able to work independently, passionate to solve complex problems.
- effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead & influence others to drive
