*key responsibilities*1.financial reporting & compliance*- prepare and ensure the accuracy of *monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements* in compliance with company policies and regulations.- provide *timely financial reports* to hq, ensuring they meet corporate deadlines.- ensure compliance with *local tax regulations, financial standards, and company policies*.*2.general ledger management*- maintain and reconcile *general ledger accounts* to ensure financial accuracy.- ensure proper recording of *journal entries, accruals, and adjustments*.- assist with the *month-end and year-end closing processes*.*3.accounts receivable*- manage vendor and customer accounts, reconciling outstanding balances.- address *discrepancies and resolve financial issues* related to ap/ar.*4.budgeting & cash flow management*- assist in *budget preparation and financial forecasting*.- monitor *cash flow*, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.- identify opportunities for *cost control and financial optimization*.*6.process improvement & efficiency*- identify *opportunities to improve financial processes* and enhance reporting efficiency.- collaborate with the cost accountant and other teams to streamline financial workflows.- ensure financial data integrity and compliance with *epicor erp* systems.*qualifications & requirements*education & certifications*:- bachelor's degree in accounting*, finance, business administration*, or a related field.- cpa (certified public accountant) or equivalent certification is a *plus*.*experience*:- *5+ years* of experience in financial accounting, specifically in *automotive manufacturing*.- strong knowledge of *financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting principles*.*technical skills*:- *proficiency in erp* for financial tracking and reporting, preferably *epicor*.- advanced skills in *microsoft excel* (pivot tables, vlookup, macros) and *financial reporting tools*.- knowledge of *local and international accounting regulations and tax compliance*.- experience in *budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management*.- proficient in english and spanish.pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per monthability to commute/relocate:- ramos arizpe, coah.(município de ramos arizpe): reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)application question(s):- do you have previous experience working within the automotive industry?- are you able to have a fluent conversation in english?This person will report directly to people in asia and us.work location: in person
