*key responsibilities*
*1. Financial reporting & compliance*
- prepare and ensure the accuracy of *monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements* in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- provide *timely financial reports* to hq, ensuring they meet corporate deadlines.
- ensure compliance with *local tax regulations, financial standards, and company policies*.
*2. General ledger management*
- maintain and reconcile *general ledger accounts* to ensure financial accuracy.
- ensure proper recording of *journal entries, accruals, and adjustments*.
- assist with the *month-end and year-end closing processes*.
*3. Accounts receivable*
- manage vendor and customer accounts, reconciling outstanding balances.
- address *discrepancies and resolve financial issues* related to ap/ar.
*4. Budgeting & cash flow management*
- assist in *budget preparation and financial forecasting*.
- monitor *cash flow*, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.
- identify opportunities for *cost control and financial optimization*.
*6. Process improvement & efficiency*
- identify *opportunities to improve financial processes* and enhance reporting efficiency.
- collaborate with the cost accountant and other teams to streamline financial workflows.
- ensure financial data integrity and compliance with *epicor erp* systems.
*qualifications & requirements*
*education & certifications*:
- bachelor's degree in accounting*, finance, business administration*, or a related field.
- cpa (certified public accountant) or equivalent certification is a *plus*.
*experience*:
- *5+ years* of experience in financial accounting, specifically in *automotive manufacturing*.
- strong knowledge of *financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting principles*.
*technical skills*:
- *proficiency in erp* for financial tracking and reporting, preferably *epicor*.
- advanced skills in *microsoft excel* (pivot tables, vlookup, macros) and *financial reporting tools*.
- knowledge of *local and international accounting regulations and tax compliance*.
- experience in *budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management*.
- proficient in english and spanish.
pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
