As a transportation supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating operational transportation activities, ensuring route compliance, deliveries, efficient use of vehicles, and adherence to the company's established safety and quality standards.
this position reports to the head of transportation.
key responsibilities
* supervise the departure and arrival of transport units.
* verify the correct assignment of operators and loads per route.
* coordinate the execution of routes according to plan.
* monitor the status of units in real time (gps, tms, calls).
* respond to incidents en-route such as delays, mechanical failures, or deviations.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, industrial engineering or similar.
* 2+ years of experience in route monitoring, operator management, and unit control
