join us as a broker engagement manager to make a bigger business impact with your negotiation, creativity and administrative skills and wider talents. Aig distribution teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including financial lines, property, casualty, specialty lines, cyber, multinational clients, and high net worth individuals. The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and aig.
responsibilities
* focus on generating new business opportunities and strategies through proper pipeline management.
* maintain and develop business relationships with appointed brokers and other related business partners.
* initiate and organize events, seminars, trainings and other promotional activities for brokers to increase new business and reinforce relationships.
* communicate our underwriting appetite and value proposition during meetings with each broker.
* salesforce: keep updated the intelligence profile and broker plan of the brokers in the assigned portfolio to align our strategies with those of each broker, and identify target portfolios.
* contribute to achieving aig’s strategic growth in the coming years.
* utilize negotiation, leadership and conflict management skills to advance performance in this role.
* elevate service levels to our top producers.
what you’ll need to succeed
* experience in the insurance sector, with sales or client-facing roles preferred.
* technical skills: data analysis; proficient in microsoft office (powerpoint, excel, word).
* soft skills: problem solving, negotiation, creativity, teamwork, and ability to develop relationships at all levels.
* knowledge in commercial and personal lines (property, financial lines, marine, casualty, a&h, etc).
* preferred qualification: intermediate level of english.
