Soporte técnico -bilingue

*key responsibilities*:

- provide on-site and remote desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end users.
- assist with service desk operations by managing incidents, service requests, and escalations.
- support back-office it projects, such as software installations, system upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance.
- maintain accurate records of all support activities and update ticketing systems as required.
- collaborate with it teams to implement and maintain security protocols and policies.
- assist in the setup and configuration of workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including vpn and wi-fi troubleshooting.
- provide training and guidance to end users on system usage and best practices.
- assist in asset management and inventory tracking of it equipment.
- participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed.

*requirements*:

- bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, field support, or service desk roles.
- strong knowledge of windows and macos operating systems.
- proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., servicenow, jira, zendesk).
- basic understanding of itil principles and practices.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- fluent in english; a proven level equivalent to c1 is required.

*preferred qualifications*:

- experience supporting remote work environments and virtual desktops.
- knowledge of basic scripting and automation (powershell, bash).
- certifications such as comptia a+, itil foundation, or microsoft certified: modern desktop administrator.
