Position summary
the security manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect the organization's assets, employees, and facilities. This role requires leadership skills, risk analysis, crisis management, and technical knowledge of security systems.
key responsibilities
-design and implement security policies and procedures.
-supervise physical and digital security operations.
-conduct security audits and risk assessments.
-coordinate with external agencies (police, fire department, etc.).
-control budgets and expenses related to security.
-respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
-maintain detailed records of incidents and corrective actions.
-present security status reports to senior management.
-recommend technological and operational improvements in security.
requirements and skills
-bachelor’s degree in security, criminal justice, or related field.
-bilingual
-preferred certifications: cpp, psp, cissp.
-minimum of 5 years of experience in security roles, preferably in leadership.
-knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and security management software.
-strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-ability to make decisions under pressure.
-excellent communication and leadership skills.
-integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
