Maintenance Manager
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coah
We have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for coordinating maintenance teamwork assignments to optimize safety and reliability of machinery, quality of production, production uptime and facility/building maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper functioning of all plant equipment and facilities to meet production and quality goals by adhering to preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor action plans to eliminate recurring equipment failures through periodic meetings with the maintenance team to reduce downtime.
- Ensure the development and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans for equipment and monitor their compliance to reduce downtime and uncontrolled processes.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department on the necessary requirements to have spare parts available and reduce downtime due to component failures.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the training system for maintenance technicians and engineers to help improve diagnosis and correction times for problems that may arise in the area, in accordance with the Training department's programs.
- Support the implementation of equipment improvements to help reduce downtime, quality defects, and scrap, according to the plant's scorecard.

Requirements
- Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing or related
- 6+ years of experience in maintenance management
- Plastic Injection Management, Maintenance and Facilities
- Strong emphasis on state and local safety regulations, safety compliance and training
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
