The software simulation team leads intel’s software-first strategy by creating robust system simulators. We transform the development and simulation of firmware and software in a modern cloud environment, delivering integrated simulation of the platform several quarters before first silicon. We need strong software engineering students with knowledge of digital hardware.
Responsibilities
coding, testing, and debugging software within a supportive team.
Driving initiatives and projects tied to development, implementation, or upgrade of platform simulators.
Analyzing specifications of upcoming ips and features, collaborating with intel software, hardware design engineers, and architects to deliver next‑generation simulation platforms.
Owning and being accountable for a product section, ensuring adherence to development timelines.
Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, influencing, and remote collaboration skills.
Engaging with internal and external customers for technical discussions and recommendations.
Exhibiting proactive stakeholder management.
Minimum qualifications
currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
At least 3 months of programming experience in python, c/c++, or other full‑blown languages.
Advanced english proficiency.
Unrestricted, permanent right to work in mexico (no visa sponsorship available).
Preferred qualifications
knowledge of computer architecture.
Comfortable with artificial intelligence solutions in daily work.
Experience reading and interpreting electronic component datasheets and specifications.
Familiarity with the simics simulator framework.
