the engineering changes coordinator should coordinate engineering changes in alignment with bcs standards. Manage timing and ensure all changes are properly communicated and executed with the assigned cross-functional teams (cft). Maintain updated oem customer portals and ensure alignment with iatf 16949 and iso 14001 standards.
your role:
- coordinate and ensure timely implementation of engineering changes with minimal obsolescence and customer impact. - generate and maintain engineering change lists with current status and share weekly updates. - keep customer oem portals up to date based on launch needs. - train prls (project responsible leaders) on the use of different oem portals. - ensure portal dates are aligned with project timelines by coordinating with prls. - approve engineering changes (ecs) in the system. - support continuous improvement initiatives in compliance with iatf 16949 and iso 14001 standards.
what do you need?
- bachelor's degree in: electronics engineering, industrial engineering or related fields. - 5 to 10 years (experience in a similar role - advance english (required) - engineering change management processes (ecs) - use of oem's portals (gm, stellantis, ford or another automotive company) - continuous improvement methodologies - ppap, apqp - msa, oee, ftq, scrap, downtime - effective communication
