as an accountant analyst, you will support the company's day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, invoicing, journal entries, and monthly closings.this role will also contribute to budgeting and financial analysis activities, supporting forecast updates and expense tracking. Additionally, you will assist with key tax-related processes, including vat documentation and follow-up.manage accounts payable processes: review supplier invoices, verify documentation, code expenses correctly, and resolve discrepancies.support invoicing activities and ensure proper accounting treatment and recordkeeping.prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger records.assist with monthly closings and reconciliations (banks, supplier balances, expense accounts).support budget preparation, expense control, and tracking of actuals vs forecast.contribute to financial analysis and forecasting activities, providing insights on spending trends and operational costs.perform vat (iva) reconciliation activities, ensuring consistency between accounting records and tax requirements.maintain organized accounting and tax documentation, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and local regulations.collaborate with management and controlling teams to strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting workflows.limited coordination with hr on employee-related accounting transactions when required (payroll is not the main focus of this role).bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.~2–4 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, invoicing, or related finance roles.~ strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting basics.~ experience handling invoice processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.~ familiarity with vat (iva) processes, tax compliance routines, and ideally exposure to vat refund documentation.~ interest or experience supporting budgeting, expense analysis, and forecasting activities.~ spanish fluency required; intermediate english is a plus.
