our internship program was developed to give university students the opportunity to gain practical work experience and build a solid foundation for their professional lives. Throughout the program, you will gain firsthand insight into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure that customer needs are met through flawless execution and the use of cutting-edge technology.

during your internship, you will have the opportunity to participate in technical and development training, team meetings, and projects where you will present your results. You will also have the support of the team, management, and a dedicated buddy to guide you, ensuring a valuable and enriching learning experience.

as an intern, you will be responsible for:



* receive training and mentoring that will enable you to complete tasks and projects that will strengthen your learning and skills.







* get involved, learn about and understand the assigned area, without limiting yourself to just that.



* participate in and deliver internal projects, generating results for clients (internal and external), as well as identifying opportunities for improvement for the business and the area.









* learn the internal operating system (including software and applications) that will help you in the development and delivery of your projects and daily tasks.









* collaborate and connect with different teams, other practitioners and areas of baker hughes, to expand your knowledge and build a global network.









* apply hse (health, safety and environment) concepts, ensuring compliance with procedures in all situations to maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment.









* participate and engage in integration groups for interns, as well as other volunteering hubs focused on diversity, equity and inclusion, which will boost your networking and skills development on a global level.

to succeed and be considered for our internship program, you need:









* currently enrolled in undergraduate programs such as:


- engineering (any specialty).

- industrial engineering. -

systems engineering, software engineering, information technology engineering, or related fields.

- business administration.

- international business.

- international trade.

- logistics, supply chain management, or operations management.

- project management or related disciplines.

- environmental engineering, industrial safety, or related fields.

- quality management, industrial processes, or related disciplines.

- economics, finance, or administrative fields with an analytical focus.









* have an intermediate to advanced level of english .









* be available to do an internship for a period of 1 year.









* have the legal right to do an internship in the country where the vacancy is offered


selection process timeline

our internship program operates on a hiring cycle, and you will participate in the july cycle. Therefore, the selection process will take place between april and june.

after you submit your application, the recruitment team will review the resumes. If your profile is selected, you will advance to the digital interview stage. Subsequently, the interviews will be evaluated, and if you advance in the process, you will be invited to an interview with the area's management. Candidates approved at this stage will receive an offer to join the internship program in the corresponding cycle.

as this is an internship program, we offer both in-person and hybrid options, focused on broader, more diverse development and ample networking opportunities, in addition to direct leadership mentorship.

available internship schedules (monday to friday):

we recognize the importance of our interns' academic training; therefore, we promote a flexible work schedule that allows for a proper balance between academic and professional responsibilities.

interns must fulfill the previously agreed-upon workload, either part-time or full-time, depending on the program and department's needs. The specific schedule may vary, provided it aligns with the team, department objectives, and assigned tasks.
