The value stream leader will oversee all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (sqdc) within the assigned production value streams.
the value stream (vs) covers the entire process from material receipt to product shipment.
this leader will support, coach, and influence all direct and indirect employees within the vs, including team leaders, technicians, quality engineering, manufacturing/process engineering, production planning, and maintenance teams.
this position works closely with operations/manufacturing management, technical and production leaders, project engineers, program managers, customer operations, and quality teams to ensure operational excellence.

optimize workforce, equipment, and material resources to achieve productivity targets and ensure labor flexibility.
ensure 100% on-time delivery while meeting plant sqdc objectives.
develop and maintain a visual management system and kpis for the sqdc board / meeting area.
train employees on kpi interpretation and performance awareness.
lead regular team meetings and communication sessions.
oversee and support new product and process launches following npi requirements, timelines, and budgets.
maintain operational documentation (fmea, control plans, ppi, internal audits, reports).
ensure total productive maintenance (tpm) activities are defined and executed across the vs. Create and maintain employee training and development plans; promote cross-training to eliminate single points of failure across shifts.
develop risk mitigation plans for all processes.
collaborate with engineering to maintain capacity models.
support production troubleshooting using root-cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
ensure timely sap transactions, mr closure, and minimal open production orders.
track and execute leader standard work and ensure timely completion of required actions.
coordinate with production planning, program management, customer operations, and other departments to meet customer requirements.
ensure availability of production inputs and coordinate resource allocation across value streams.
promote a culture of trust, respect, and motivation.
monitor time and attendance, ensuring accurate scheduling and variance management.
execute employee performance management in alignment with company policy.
partner with hr to execute staffing and workforce planning.
foster high levels of employee engagement and develop team talent through effective hiring, training, and proactive skills development.
qualifications bachelor's degree in industrial engineer or similar.
3 experience as production coordinator in a manufacturing environment.
knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and relevant equipment.
understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
demonstrated passion for operational and process improvement.
strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
proven leadership skills with the ability to lead multifunctional teams.
basic proficiency in ms office; highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
strong project planning and organization skills (3–6 month horizon).
excellent communication, relationship-building, and resourcefulness.
previous experience in manufacturing supervision and planning required.
strong leadership and willingness to learn are essential.
