As a **PLC Engineer Intern** here at Honeywell, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) while working alongside experienced engineers.
This internship will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of PLC systems in various applications.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mexico City, MX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering projects by assisting in the development and optimization of PLC systems.
Your contributions will help ensure that our systems operate smoothly and meet the high standards expected by our clients.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assist in the design and implementation of PLC systems for various applications.
+ Support troubleshooting and maintenance of existing PLC systems.
+ Collaborate with engineers to optimize system performance and reliability.
**TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS**
+ Development of PLC code from scratch, specifically with Rockwell PLC (Allen Bradley).
+ PLC programming for the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) industry.
+ Ladder logic programming.
+ Experience with communication protocols.
+ Experience in HMI or PanelView development.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
+ Advanced English
**YOU MUST HAVE.**
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
+ Basic knowledge of PLC programming and control systems.
+ Familiarity with programming languages such as Ladder Logic or Structured Text.
+ Understanding of electrical circuits and control systems.
