The events coordinator will be responsible for nurturing client relationships throughout the sales and planning process in partnership with the group sales team. Ensuring all client communications are responded to enthusiastically and promptly. Responsible for appointments and site inspections. Acts as a liaison between clients and the resort to create memorable experiences for our guests.

1. collaborate with the events and catering team to develop and implement strategies to attract clients for events and catering services.
2. act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
3. facilitate the booking and planning of events, ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings, considering clients' preferences and needs.
4. coordinate catering services, including menu selection, food presentation, and maintaining high-quality service standards.
5. assist in creating proposals, contracts, and event orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
6. maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and event details for future reference.
7. conduct site visits with clients to showcase event spaces and discuss specific requirements.
8. collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure resources for events, negotiating contracts when necessary.
9. assist in marketing efforts to promote events and catering services, including creating promotional materials and social media content.
qualifications
* exceptional communication skills, confident and clear interaction with guests and team members at all levels.
* strong editing skills with impeccable attention to detail.
* ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
* flexibility with work assignments and schedules.
* willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends if needed.
* proficiency with microsoft office (word, excel) and experience with delphi. Experience with opera and social tables is a plus.
* prior experience in or knowledge of the hospitality industry is preferred.
* professional representation of the resort, interacting with guests in a polished, responsible, and timely manner.
