the finance team leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring timely payments and meeting key performance indicators.

this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of accounting principles.


key responsibilities

* verify the accuracy of payments and error rates to ensure proper payment processing.
* act as a backup for the verification clerk to review and process urgent documents.
* analyze kpi reports to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency.


essential qualifications

* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
* two to three years of experience in accounts payable.
* intermediate microsoft office and sql skills.
* strong human relations, analytical, and communication skills.
